Why this summit
A renewed global pesticide regulatory dialogue.
Pesticide regulation is evolving rapidly as advances in science, digital technologies and biological solutions create new opportunities for safer and more efficient regulatory systems. Yet differences among jurisdictions still lead to duplication of assessments, data requirements and regulatory efforts.
Building on decades of work by OECD, FAO and WHO, the Global Pesticide Summit will explore how shared science, regulatory reliance, equivalence, work-sharing and interoperable data can improve efficiency without lowering health or environmental protection standards.
